The Owner:

I wish I could say I always wanted to be an electrician
but the truth is I was working for minimum wage as a
labourer doing conrete and landscaping work when I managed
to impress an electrician who gave me the opportunity
to get into the trade and changed my life.

In 2010 I started working full time doing small renovation
projects for a local electrical contractor who taught me all
the old school residential tricks I take credit for today.

Eventually I moved on to work for a larger company in Halifax, NS
where I worked in a service van for about 3 years which gave me
the opportunity to work in all kinds of different situations from
residential to mid-size commercial jobs allowing me to really expand
on my knowledge and experience in the trade.

Since then I've continued to push my limits and learn knew things...

From working in smart homes in Halifax to industrial sites on remote
mines in norther Canada I take pride in meeting the challenges being
an electrician can give you but I take even greater pride in using my
experience to help people find solutions to their problems whether that
means making you more comfortable in your home or making your business more profitable.

In May of 2020 with 10 years of experience under my belt I decided to start
Black Dog Energy Limited.
